Planning for Your Own Care
This workshop will review available options for when you, or a loved one, depend on assistance for care needs. Whether the goal is to stay at home or move into a facility, this discussion will assist in your decision making process.
Important Documents for the Elder Years
What is the difference between a power of attorney, advance directive, will, trust, guardian, and conservator? What other important documents might come into play if we become sick or injured? This discussion aims to bring clarity to the often confusing roadmap of necessary end-of-life documents.
Understanding Hospice
Learn what to expect from hospice, the roles of the care team members, how it is paid for, and when it might be time. It is important to know what questions to ask when searching for the best fit, as well as understanding how to advocate when needed.
After Death Planning
Have you considered what will happen with the physical part of yourself once you have concluded this human experience? Today, there are more choices than traditional burial or cremation. What is a natural burial, water cremation, or body composting? What if we don’t have the money to secure any of these? Join us for a guided conversation on modern after-death planning.
